Section titled “Translated text”A game widespread in Poland (other names: Ring, Hide and Don’t Show, Chatterbox, etc.); application as above. Children divide into two teams (equal in number and strength) and simultaneously grasp (each team from one end) a long pole or rope. The team that pulls the opponents to their side wins. Then both teams stand opposite each other in two rows. The winners become the owners of the “golden ball” (a coin, ring, pebble 1, etc.) and pass it quickly from hand to hand. The defeated team, when asked by the winners: — Guess, guesser, where is my golden ball? Is it with me, or with my brother? — sends one person at a time (who, in some regions, hops on one foot) to find the ball. Their response: — I would gladly tell, if only I knew. — And then: — Joe (Kate, etc.) has it. — The named person opens their hands. If the “ball” is in them, the game starts anew with tugging. If not, the defeated team sends another, and so on.
