Section titled “Translated text”The patrol leader designates one scout to flee and hide. The rest of the patrol gathers in the quietest part of the town, that is, where vehicular and pedestrian traffic is minimal.
The chosen fugitive has 4 minutes to hide, slip away, and gain a lead, during which the rest of the patrol does not track him—except for two scouts who follow invisibly just behind him. After two minutes, one of the tracking pair returns to the patrol at a run to lead them to the spot where he stopped trailing, while the other continues forward, leaving behind clues such as scraps of paper.
Naturally, all must be well-trained in pursuit and reading tracks, for a cleverly escaping scout employs every possible means and ruse to mislead the pursuit. At the start of the game, a deadline must be set by which the fugitive must evade capture to win. A touch by the hand of a pursuer signifies that the fugitive has been caught.
