Two Couriers with Dispatches
Translation details
Model:mistral-large-2512.Translated text
Section titled “Translated text”A game in which 2 patrols, or 2 units, compete for superiority. The patrols stand at a distance of 4 kilometers from each other. The instructor (the troop leader acting as referee) is positioned at an equal distance (2 km) from the patrols, in a town at the junction of two streets, or on an outing in the middle of a forest. At the appointed time, couriers from opposite sides set off simultaneously and punctually. The task of the remaining scouts in each patrol is to skillfully place obstacles in the way of the opposing courier so that he cannot deliver the letter. To this end, they lie in wait for him in an ambush along the route he is most likely to take to his destination. However, they must leave 200 meters from the start and 200 meters before the finish line free. A captured courier may be held, and his letter taken from him, but it is not permitted to struggle with him, much less strike him. Simply touching the courier during pursuit by opponents already signifies that he has been captured.
