Secret Dispatch
Translation details
Model:mistral-medium-2604.Translated text
Section titled “Translated text”A vital, secret dispatch from the Whites is being transmitted through a chain of signaling stations. The objective is to intercept it.
This chain, consisting of 3–4 stations, is well concealed (choose suitable terrain!); it is not easy to track down.
The Reds know only that a station is located, for example, in the western direction from their position. They divide into groups of 2–3 scouts and set out to locate it. The intercepted dispatch must be delivered to the flag at the assembly point.
The Whites transmit the dispatch only at a designated hour, which should be timed so that the patrols have sufficient time to search for the chain and position themselves in a favorable, concealed spot.
Each group operates separately and tries to intercept the dispatch in its entirety or at least fragments of it. Which group will do this best?
It should be added that the Whites are not allowed to begin signaling before the designated hour. Furthermore, the dispatch must consist of 3–4 sentences, each of a few words, with a 3-minute interval between each sentence.
The content of the secret dispatch is handed only to the initial station by the leader.
If any patrol is spotted by one of the stations, it is disqualified from the competition, even if it successfully intercepts the dispatch.
