The instructor announces that the following should be observed: a) points and objects along the road, b) everything that happens on the road or beside it. From time to time, they ask questions such as: How many women passed by? How were they dressed? What were they carrying on the cart? How many cows were grazing? What make was the car? What was its number? How many carriages did the train have? What was the crossing keeper doing at the crossing? How many trees were there by the water? What species were they? What sign regulating traffic (on the road or track) did we pass?

This is an easier observation exercise, consisting of directing the youth’s attention. The above questions should be asked immediately after the given phenomenon has passed. Before answering, do not allow looking back (honesty in the game). After answering, allow comparing observations with reality. Determine who observed best. A more challenging version of the game will be surprising the youth with a question without previously drawing attention to the object of observation.
