This is an excellent exercise for Morse code signals. The troop, or unit, is divided into 3 parts, or only 3 patrols are designated for this game. Part A may be the smallest but must consist of the best signalers (e.g., 3 scouts from Patrol A).

Part C must be the largest (Patrol C plus the remainder of Patrol A). The game lasts 2 hours.

First, Unit A sets out and chooses a position on a high hill, tree, tower, or rooftop, depending on where there is the best view of the desired distance or a limited area with a radius of 1/2—1 km, depending on whether the terrain is open or concealed. This unit (A) takes with it Morse flags (or Semaphore flags) or any other signaling apparatus (whistles, trumpets, etc.).

Next, Unit B (Patrol B) sets out and attempts to hide within the agreed boundaries of the area, aiming to deceive the watchful eyes of the signalers (A). It appears and disappears in various places, striving to mislead the enemy observing its movements. It should be dressed in khaki colors, as this facilitates the difficult task of concealment. Once it finally occupies a well-hidden position, it is no longer permitted to change its location.

15 minutes after B, Unit C sets out, guided by the signals from Unit A reporting the position occupied by B. It endeavors to approach unseen and surround the hiding place of Unit B. If Unit B is surrounded, it is considered captured, and C wins. However, if more scouts from Unit B escape

(which is permitted from the moment encirclement is detected) than are surrounded, then B wins.
