Section titled “Translated text”A game described by Gołębiowski; application as in the previous one. Participants, numbering 5—20, choose one among themselves to stand in the center with a ball in hand, while the others arrange themselves in a circle, spaced several steps apart. The one in the center throws the ball to the ground so that it bounces toward the circle’s edge. Whoever catches the ball in flight or picks it up aims it at the center player. If the hitter misses or the center player catches the ball, they switch places, and the new center player serves as above. If the hitter hits, the player toward whom the ball bounced catches or picks it up and again aims at the center player. The winner is the one who, in the agreed time, was not in the center at all, or (if everyone was) received the fewest hits. Rules: 1) The center player may move only within the circle; if they dodge the ball outside the circle, they are considered hit. 2) The outer players mark their positions (with chalk on the floor, a furrow in the ground): a hit where the player does not touch this mark with at least one foot is considered a miss.
- A hit above the shoulders or below the knees is also counted as a miss. 4) If the ball falls to the ground after a serve or a hit, the center player picks it up, or one of the outer players returns it to them for another serve.
