A game described by Gołębiowski; suitable for elementary girls’ schools. On the floor or ground, a circle is drawn and a cross is inscribed within it. Then, one of the girls jumps into the circle and, spinning continuously in time with a song, hops alternately on her right and left foot, always into a different segment of the circle. If she makes a mistake in the rhythm, stands on both feet, or finally jumps onto a line or outside the circle, she yields her place to the next player. The winner is the one who, without error, jumps through the greatest number of verses.
