His Majesty's Royal Courier
Translation details
Model:mistral-large-2512.Translated text
Section titled “Translated text”The Scoutmaster (acting as the king) gives one of the scouts, as the courier, a letter with the order to infiltrate besieged Zbaraż—which may be any town, village, or house—and return with proof of delivery. The courier must wear a colored ribbon, 60 cm long, pinned to the arm. The courier sets out from a distance of at least 6 km from “Zbaraż.” Scouts playing the roles of besieging Tatar and Cossack forces, in order to track the courier down, may choose any positions, but no closer than 300 m from Zbaraż (it is best to mark clear, easily visible boundaries). A Cossack or Tatar encountered by the judge within these boundaries is disqualified from the game. The courier may use any ruses except disguising as a woman; however, the courier must always wear the aforementioned colored ribbon on the arm. The courier is only considered captured when the enemy removes the ribbon. The game may last up to 10 hours. Within this time, the courier must deliver the royal letter to the Zbaraż commander and return to the king with proof of delivery. Each besieger earns 3 points if they capture the courier, but loses the same number if they fail.
