Translated text

The patrol shall construct from wood and canvas models of masts with movable flags. The best-made masts win, and the single finest one will serve for the following ceremony: at the beginning of each patrol gathering, the flag is hoisted solemnly, and at the end, it is lowered. The competition may be varied by including a contest for the most beautiful flag for the “international scout republic” or for the troop’s own banner.
