A widely known game; we show the patrol someone twice, making certain changes to their clothing the second time. Each participant lists the changes they notice. The one who identifies the most wins. It can be played in teams, in which case members of each team are allowed to confer.

Stricter Rule. A boy may only state as many changes as were actually made, regardless of whether he is correct or not. For example, if 5 changes were made, and a boy—who is told at the start how many changes were made—lists 5 changes, with three of them correct, he may not continue, even if he truly noticed 2 additional changes. The game teaches the reliability of observation.
