Chain Race of Signal Stations
Translation details
Model:mistral-large-2512.Translated text
Section titled “Translated text”We set up on level or undulating terrain two or more chains of signal stations (each patrol provides one chain). A chain may consist of two or more stations.
The first stations receive a written dispatch from the game leader through their messengers, then transmit the dispatch to the next stations using signaling.
The chain that fastest delivers the dispatch to its final station in unchanged form wins.
Stations in the chain are placed in the terrain so that each subsequent station sees only the previous station.
A complication in this game will be requiring a reply to the sent dispatch. For this purpose, the dispatch should be composed to compel an answer. A variation of the game may involve interrupting the signal chain by introducing a messenger: on foot, by bicycle, by kayak, etc.
