Individual Competition in Receiving a Telegram
Translation details

Section titled “Translated text”To test the signaling skills of individual participants, we use the following game. We arrange all participants loosely, spread out in width and depth, while we ourselves, from a point visible to everyone and at least 200 meters away from the nearest boy, transmit a telegram composed of several or a dozen or so unrelated words with no thematic connection.
The speed of transmission will depend on the training level of the youth. The telegram may be sent by the best signaler. To evaluate groups (patrols) consisting of a larger number of participants, we can form trios (in the case of three groups) at one location, composed of individuals from different groups. By summing the number of words correctly received by all members of a group and dividing by the number of group members, we obtain the score for the best patrol.
