Return by the Same Route
Translation details

Section titled “Translated text”The instructor leads the group (preferably in a forest) along paths, constantly changing direction. After covering at least 1—2 kilometers, participants are instructed to return individually to the starting point.
In the early versions of this game, the return by the same route should be announced in advance so that participants can prepare by observing and orienting themselves in the terrain. They should even be randomly asked to determine each change of direction using a compass.
Later, once they are more practiced, the return should not be announced but instead used to surprise the participants. To verify whether individual participants truly returned by the same route, they should be instructed to write their names on cards left by the instructor at several key points along the way. Alternatively, one participant can be stationed as a control judge at the most critical point, or the instructor can take this position themselves. The return march may initially be done with a map, but later without one.
