Translated text

We are an outpost. In the forward area, we have 2, 3, or 4 sentries deployed in concealed terrain unknown to the outpost members. At an agreed-upon time, the sentries fire (blank cartridges for younger scouts; rifles with blanks may be used for older ones). Upon this signal, we dispatch patrols from the outpost in the direction of the shots, each in a different direction, to investigate the position of the given sentry and bring back a report.
