On small, open terrain, all listeners blindfold themselves. On larger terrain or at night, the game proceeds without blindfolds. The winner is the one who first discovers or catches the whistler.
C. 3 groups, each with whistles of different pitches, hide or flee from three groups, each of which pursues only one unit assigned a specific pitch. The fleeing groups must have a predetermined escape time and a location where they will hide after the final whistle. The pursuers should locate the correct group. After being found, the individual groups switch roles. Each whistler should initially be assigned a different direction of escape to avoid confusion and to not hinder the pursuit.
