Following the Guide's Trail in the City
Translation details
Model:mistral-large-2512.Translated text
Section titled “Translated text”Exercises similar to the Siberian scout in the forest. A scout sent ahead as a guide has pockets filled with grains, peas, nutshells, or paper: “confetti.” Every few steps, they mark their trail on the ground. They may also use a piece of chalk to draw signs on walls, sidewalks, lampposts, and trees.
The patrol following must collect all the traces and erase all the signs. If the guide has to move to an area where the traces they have on hand would disappear, they leave a note beforehand, marked in the scouting manner, indicating the direction of further travel. The purpose of this game is not tag but a detailed description of the route taken following the guide’s trail. The best description wins points.
